As a leading innovation and design house within the specialist vehicles industry we pride ourselves in our ability to think laterally and to think and act fast. We know that our customers rarely have time to burn or money to squander as they wait for solutions slowly to evolve. Our ultimate speciality is our ability to assimiliate our customers' requirements (which can be presented to us in any format from a verbal brief to a detailed requirements document) and give an honest, straightforward and rapid assessment of feasibility based upon factors such as time, budget and available technology.
In the event of a positive feasibility assessment we aim to move forward rapidly to produce concept drawings, outline engineering designs and - if appropriate, an immediate, rapid, working prototype. As designs evolve and prototypes take shape innevitably more questions and challenges arise before designs can be finalised. This process, though complex, need not be time consuming. We take pride in our ability to producing rapid solutions within very tight deadlines.

STRIVE
OVIK's all new STRIVE Chassis Platform
Designed for specialist applications - the STRIVE platform is designed to cater for the needs of the defence, commercial, agricultural, security and utilities sectors. Drive is either 4x4 or 6x6; with payload unmatched in its class STRIVE is available as a chassis cowl, chassis cab (ready for stage 2 builds) or as a fully prepeared specialist vehicle. ST-A
Multi-role Armoured Vehicle.
Built on the OVIK STRIVE Chassis
ST-A provides a fully flexible solution to suit a diverse range of modern operational requirements. ST-A can be rapidly re-roled and re-configured both internally and externally to deliver capability across a broad operational and threat spectrum – from Counter Terrorist Operations to building assault, from humanitarian operataions to public order and armed response – ST-A will provide the solution. Based upon OVIK’s own, ultra strong STRIVE chassis.

ST-L
Multi-role Armoured Logistics Vehicle.
Built on the OVIK STRIVE Chassis
ST-L is a unique vehicle - optimised for carriage of both personnel and cargo/logistics. The ST-L design optimises vehicle payload by minimising the armoured protection to that of the passenger/crew cell - thus reducing overall vehicle weight - giving invaluable additional payload for essential logistics.

ST-R
Armoured Public Order Vehicle
Built on the OVIK STRIVE Chassis
ST-R is the latest development of the OVIK PANGOLIN Public Order vehicle design. Over 120 PANGOLINs have so far been built on Land Rover chassis. ST-R places the public order design on the STRIVE chassis with an all-new power train – increasing payload, reliability, power and improving handling. OVIK STRIVE ST-R - the last word in Public Order armoured patrol vehicles.

STRIKE
The Light STRIKE Vehicle
Built on the OVIK STRIVE Chassis
Designed for a prestigious SE Asian customer and now with over 140 vehicles delivered to three countries, the Light STRIKE Vehicle provides the perfect answer to a cost-effective, lightweight (air transportable), robust, long-range weapons platform / patrol vehicle.
Based on the STRIVE chassis and with a payload of up to 2.7 tonnes STRIKE is unmatched in its class.

PANGOLIN
Armoured Public Order Vehicle
This is a highly classified system and as such we are not at liberty to divulge any details of the design or vehicle protection levels.
Designed and developed specifically for the Police Service of Northern Ireland. A highly advanced derivative of the Land Rover 110 PUMA chassis. Optimised for public order duties. Fully armoured to meet theatre specific threats. 123 of these vehicles are currently on active service. CAMELEON
Modular Mission System
CAMELEON is an all wheel drive modular mission system vehicle, designed and developed by OVIK in 2010. The CAMELEON can be based upon any commercially available 4x4 / 6x6 or 8x8 chassis - including the IVECO Daily 4x4, UNIMOG, Renault, SCAM, BREMACH etc). Depending upon intended use the base vehicle usually incorporates a number of utility specific modifications, plus a range of specialist mission modules which can be interchanged rapidly, giving the vehicle a multi-functional utility.

PHOENIX
SNATCH Upgrade Programme
B6+ Armoured Vehicle
OVIK was approached by a number of UK police forces to scope the possibility of re-cycling former British Army (UK MOD) SNATCH Land Rovers into cost effective Public Order Vehicles.
Working closely with constabularies OVIK evolved the R-OVIK concept vehicle - the first in a line of vehicles known as the PHOENIX - resurrected from what were essentially scrapped former MOD vehicles. OVIK has since established itself as the leading supplier of upgraded/enhanced and re-fitted fomer SNATCH vehicles. Available in left or right hand drive configuration.

RHINO
Multi Use Platform
The RHINO is a concept vehicle designed for an overseas customer and currently in prototype form. OVIK has been contracted by a West African defence force to deliver a concept for a multi-use vehicle based upon a MOTS (Military Off the Shelf) chassis and powertrain.
OVIK's long-standing association with IVECO led us to the IVECO 40 series chassis system. Already in service with more than fourteen countries world-wide the 40 series has a long and established pedigree as a cost-effective and highly reliable work-horse. Given the Requirements brief for the RHINO it was necessary to find a chassis with excellent all-terrain capability and a useable payload - in excess of 2500KG. In addition to designing a multi-modular and multi-purpose body for the 40 series OVIK elected to give the vehicle a complete face-lift - bringing the aesthetics of the vehicle up-to-date and improving angine air-flow and external lighting.

TAIPAN
Flexible Strike Vehicle. Delivering Firepower - Effectively
The Flexible Strike Vehicle (FSV) - TAIPAN is a contemporary upgrade of a standard Land Rover 110 Pickup. The integration of a certified roll cage and integral weapon mount transformes the 110 DEFENDER into a potent, effective and highly mobile weapons platform capable of carrying a range of medium and heavy weapons configurations for offensive and defensive operations. Further enhancements include commander's swing mount for medium weapons, folding, retainable windscreen, all weather equipment, run-flat tyres, up-rated suspension, improved internal seating, increased stowage and instantly removeable doors. Available in left or right hand drive configuration.

MEERKAT
Super Light Tracked Vehicle
Re-lifed and Re-configured CVR(T)
MEERKAT - Super Light Tracked Vehicle is a modern upgrade for the CVR(T) platform. MEERKAT is a concept demonstrator designed to showcase OVIK's ability to upgrade CVR(T) platforms & supply spares / repair.
MEERKAT brings CVR(T) into the 21st Century with new Cummins 6.7 litre ISB engine, David Brown TN15E+ Transmission (ALISON fully automatic transmission soon to be available) , STORMER final drives and fully re-fitted canbus electronic architecture. The original light tank turret has been removed and the driver moved from his original and vulnerable position - forward over the tracks.
